1. Write & Tag

Type any song or soundtrack cue in your screenplay. Right-click and tag it as Soundtrack or Score.

2. Click "Listen"

A green Listen button appears next to your tagged music. Click it to choose Spotify App, Spotify Web, or YouTube.

3. Instantly Hear It

The track opens and plays immediately — Spotify or YouTube, your choice. Paste a direct link for even faster access.

Spotify Integration

  • Open in App — launches the Spotify desktop app directly
  • Open in Web — opens Spotify in your browser, no app needed
  • Custom links — paste a direct Spotify link to your tagged track for instant access

YouTube Integration

  • Search & autoplay — finds official audio tracks with autoplay enabled
  • No account needed — YouTube opens and plays without any login
  • Fallback for anything — if a track isn't on Spotify, YouTube has you covered

How to use it in the StoryWriter

Highlight any soundtrack or score reference in your script, right-click, and tag it as Soundtrack or Score. The green Listen button appears automatically. That's it.
